WORKS
This project was awarded as a “wrap up”
package to complete considerable and diverse works
excluded from previous contract packages. The main
part of the works included completion of roadwork,
paving, planters and hard landscaping around the arrival,
departure and concourse buildings, which incorporated
some 15000 m2 of polished and flame finished Saudi
granites (Violetta and Silver Pearl) granite clad
octagonal planters, white concrete central planters,
bridge deck expansion joint installation and asphalt
paving of arrival road deck. Other works included
design and erection of a 25 m high structural steel
tower, fencing, 20 km of unpaved roads, rerouting
and modification of the existing roads.
